The Eseries season finale took us to a couple of classic Australian race tracks, Bathurst and the now-closed Oran Park, as we rounded out the 10-week championship in style last night.

A podium in the final round sealed Chaz Mostert’s fifth place in the championship, while Fullwood secured a very respectable 12th.

A thank you to each and every one of our amazing partner group for your support, and making this happen. It’s allowed our team and our sport to entertain, stay relevant, and importantly, reach an entirely new audience over a difficult period.

Now, we go back to the track on June 27, as our season resumes at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Race 1: Oran Park

Chaz 5th, Bryce 15th

With Chaz starting fifth, and Bryce 19th, they were both able to avoid spinning cars on lap 1.

That put them in a good position to move forward for the remainder of the race.

In a two stop race, the strategies were split, with Chaz looking for the undercut twice, while Bryce was the last car to take his second stop.

Chaz hunted down the top four cars, but couldn’t get close enough to get by, while Bryce held off Will Brown in the closing laps, in a great fight.

Race 2: Bathurst

Chaz 3rd, Bryce 21st

Where else could we finish the Eseries?

Bryce’s race was on the back foot early after he was crashed into by Will Davison, forcing him to tow back to pitlane, and be well behind the field.

For Chaz, he was running his own race in fifth, before he was able to capitalise on contact between Shane Van Gisbergen and Anton de Pasquale with two laps to go, moving him into third, the first of the full-time drivers on the road.

He held on in the last lap to round out the year with a podium, a nice note to finish on.

Chaz Mostert

“The Eseries was a lot of fun. We had some great battles, made some mistakes, made some enemies, made some friends, but it’s been great.

“I’m pretty stoked to finish fifth in the championship, especially considering I only got the Motum Simulator two weeks before the first round.

“A big thanks to Motum Simulation, Mobil 1, Appliances Online, and all our partners for their support during this period.

“It’s been a lot of fun, but looking forward to going back racing again!”

Bryce Fullwood

“The Eseries has been great, a big thank you to everyone who made it possible.

“We didn’t have the night we would have liked to finish on, but that’s how it goes sometimes, considering how little time I’ve spent on a sim before this, 12th in the championship is a good result.

“Overall, I’ve had a lot of fun, had some frustrating moments but also some really enjoyable ones too.

“A big thank you to all our partners for their support during the last few months. I’ve loved having the Motum Simulator at my house, but I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of a Supercar!”
