We are ready to tackle the streets of Adelaide for the final round of the 2024 Supercars Championship, how is it that time already?!
As the season finale, there will be nothing left on the table. Chaz knows what it takes to have success around here, and Woody will be looking to finish is rookie campaign in strong form.
Format
It’s back to four days of on track action, so strap in!
Thursday kicks off in the afternoon with the first practice session at 3.45pm (ACDT). Practice 2 commences at 1.10pm before qualifying which will set the grid for P11 to P24.
Saturday sees one final half hour practice session in the morning before the Top 10 Shootout just after midday. The 78 lap, 250km Race 23 will see the lights go out at 3.20pm.
Sunday starts with qualifying ahead of the Top 10 shootout to set the grid for the final race of the 2024 season where engines will roar at 3.15pm.
The Track
Adelaide is a circuit that requires 100 per cent commitment 100 per cent of the time. The concrete canyon always produces some brilliant racing, but also bites… and bites hard.
Turn 8 is one of the most infamous corners in Australia. It’s a fast-sweeping right hander, where you hold your breath every time a car buzzes through and slides to the outside fence.
Tyres
We are on the Dunlop Soft Tyre all weekend!
Pitstops
With a 250km race comes two compulsory fuel stops throughout. How much fuel you take, and when, will be the big question.
Weather
It’s going to be a scorcher! If you’re coming to the track make sure you slip, slop and slap as it’s going to be sunny all weekend with temperatures creeping up to 35 on Saturday.
How to Watch

Ryan Wood
“I had some pretty good success around here last year in Super2, I’m familiar with the track so that brings some confidence going into this weekend.
“Street tracks are always entertaining, you can’t leave anything on the table, it’s a big balance between risk vs reward so that always makes it a bit of fun.
“We have been dealt some tough cards this year, I really want to finish off the year strong and reward the crew with some good results.”
Chaz Mostert
“I can’t believe it’s the last dance already, time flies when you’re having fun and what an event to finish off the year with!
“It’s such a great event, the fans always turn up and are super passionate, it’s a track where you have 100% commitment the entire lap which makes it entertaining for the fans.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better team to do this alongside, we’ll be coming out swinging this weekend, hunting for some trophies that’s for sure.”
