Mobil 1™ Boost Mobile Racing has today unveiled a new livery for the Bathurst 1000.

Both Car 2, driven by Scott Pye and Warren Luff, and Car 25, piloted by James Courtney and Jack Perkins, will debut the new colour scheme at this weekend’s Great Race, which will stay on both cars for the remainder of the 2018 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

The PGG silver orange and black paint scheme is an evolution on the previous two modern-day liveries run by the team this year, moving from the predominately white base to the striking silver.

Mobil 1 Boost Mobile Racing Co-Team Principal, Bruce Stewart, is delighted by the new look, fit for the biggest race of the year.

“Bathurst is a special place and a special event, so it’s fantastic to be able to bring a new, fresh look to debut at the most iconic circuit in Australia,” Stewart said.

“The silver orange and black looks incredible, especially in the sunlight, and will certainly be a standout heading across the top of the mountain and down Conrod Straight. The feedback we’ve had on our cars this year has been extremely positive, but I think this one takes the cake.

“The Boost Mobile orange perfectly complements Mobil 1’s silver palette, which helps celebrate their 25 year partnership with this team.

“It’s critically important to us as a team to continue the evolution of our cars not only in a technical sense, but also aesthetically, and we are able to do that through the continued support of our partners.

“Unveiling this livery to the fans is the perfect way to start the biggest week of the year.”

Both Car 2 and 25 will take to Mount Panorama from Thursday, when practice begins.
