Walkinshaw Andretti United has today revealed its NAPA Auto Parts Racing livery, to be piloted by Alexander Rossi and James Hinchcliffe at the 2019 Bathurst 1000.

The No. 27 Holden Commodore dons the famous NAPA blue and yellow, painted with PPG Paints, as they take the major branding position on the bonnet and sides of the car, supported by Ryco, NARVA, Bendix, Prostream, CRC, Monroe, Sparesbox and Gates.

Virgin Australia are seen on the rear quarter and front spoiler lip, with their red and purple incorporated into the design seamlessly.

They join WheresMyConcrete and Polaris Materials’ Orca High Performance Concrete Aggregates on the car, who have been partners of the entry since its inception.

Dunlop have continued its support of global motorsport and driver development in a partnership that goes above and beyond their series partnership with Supercars. Both Rossi and Hinchcliffe will get their first taste of a fresh set of Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres tomorrow at Winton Raceway.

Walkinshaw Andretti United’s series sponsors, Mobil 1™, SP Tools, Morris Finance, VISA Global Logistics, CAT Workwear, High Sierra, BMC Air Filters, King Springs and Biante are also seen on the livery.

Tomorrow, Tuesday October 1, the NAPA Auto Parts Racing No. 27 begins day one of a three day test a Winton Motor Raceway, before heading to Bathurst the following week, with on-track activity beginning Thursday October 10.

Any media wishing to attend, or with any requests from the day, are encouraged to contact Andrew Wiles.

Bruce Stewart - Walkinshaw Andretti United Co-Team Principal

“I think the livery is a real head-turner, it looks fantastic.

“The NAPA Auto Parts blue and yellow collaborates really well with the Virgin Australia colours, and the rest of the support partners.

“It’s such an iconic look in US motorsport, it’s instantly recognisable, and it’s going to look amazing over the top of the mountain.

“Thank you to NAPA Auto Parts, Virgin Australia and all the other partners involved. Not the least the wonderful team at Andretti Autosport and our great friend Bill Sandbrook.

“We are all extremely excited to see how both Alexander and James go, first off at Winton, but more importantly, at Mount Panorama. Bring it on!”

Jamie Walton - EGM Merchandise & Strategic Marketing, GPC Asia Pacific

“We have been holding off in anticipation to finally reveal the car livery, donning our blue and yellow NAPA Auto Parts branding, which looks absolutely fantastic and will most certainly not be missed as Alexander & James tear around Mount Panorama.”

“With the NAPA Auto Parts brand having such a strong heritage in motorsports internationally, to be able to launch the brand in Australia and New Zealand at the iconic Bathurst 1000 is a major milestone for the NAPA brand locally.

“Partnering with Walkinshaw Andretti United and the various other sponsors on the car is a very exciting time for our NAPA brand.”
