Chaz has capped off an incredible weekend at the VALO Adelaide 500 with second in the final race of the year, while Nick moved from 21st to 12th.

Chaz threw everything at the win in the last 20 laps, within a second of the leader for the entire time, but couldn’t quell the hot air from Broc Feeney in front, and had to settle for the second step on the podium.

It leaves him third in the Drivers Championship, with his most successful year in terms of wins and podiums in his career.

For Nick, a mid-race safety car hurt his progression after stopping early, putting him back down the field, but he fought on well to move back to 12th.

Wasn’t the day he hoped for on the results front, but still a big improvement in his own backyard.

That means 2022 is a wrap, and we couldn’t have got here without the support of our team, partners, and of course our fans.

It's also our send off to Holden, a huge part of our 33-year history, and we thank every single person that has been a part of it.

Bring on 2023…

Chaz Mostert

“Incredible weekend, one that means a lot to a heap of people so its something I’ll never forget.

“Today we just couldn’t quite get there but boy we had a crack, we didn’t leave anything on the table.

“I think we will look back at this weekend, and the year with a lot of pride, so thanks to everyone that’s come along for the journey this year, and of course the team.

“Thank you as well to all the Holden fans that have backed this team for so long, we hope you can stick by us next year, but if not, thank you.”

Nick Percat

“Well that was a hell of a weekend, the safety car didn’t fall our way today, but that’s the game, sometimes it helps other times it doesn’t.

“Huge thank you to the team and all our partners this year, its been tough, but the support has been incredible.

“To end the year by finally getting a trophy, alongside Chaz, in Adelaide is just something I’ll never forget, and makes this off-season a lot easier.. I’m pumped for next year.

“Thank you as well to all the Holden fans, it’s been a heck of a ride, and they are as passionate as they come.”
