Round 2 of 2023 is a wrap, with four races at the Australian Grand Prix coming to a close today.

It was a tough ending to the weekend, with both cars struggling for tyre life and falling back late.

It started positively for Chaz, leading the first half of the race. He was pushing hard to keep the Camaros in the rear mirror, but it wasn’t sustainable.

Nick had a good opening lap on the hard tyre, stopping at the end of lap 2 to switch to the softs, but had the same issues late in the race.

That wraps up four races here in Melbourne. We head back to HQ tonight to get straight into our preparations for Perth on April 28- 30.

Chaz Mostert

“Bit of a disappointing finish in the end there, we were running strongly in the lead until late in the race, and we just didn’t have the tyre life to hang on to the position.

Thank you to everyone for their hard work, we will regroup and go again in Perth.”

Nick Percat

“Pretty tough end to a chaotic weekend that threw a lot at us. We just couldn’t hang onto the tyre in the end there.

A big weekend, glad we have a couple weeks until the next round where we can head back to HQ to work on the car after Friday’s fire. Let’s bounce back on the west coast.”
