Can you believe it!? Chaz Mostert is your 2025 Supercars Champion!
Today would be the biggest and most meaningful day in the Team’s most recent history. Chaz coming into the final race with 23 points behind, with Feeney in the lead of the championship. Execution would be key.
Qualifying kicked off the day which kept the team on their toes as the session started off wet but dried up towards the end. Both Chaz and Ryan showed strong pace with Ryan repeating yesterday’s provisional pole and Chaz securing himself a spot in the Top 10 Shootout alongside him in P7.
Both boys gave it their all in the shootout with the track continually evolving throughout the session, securing a P3 for Ryan and P4 for Chaz. They could definitely play from there.
It all came down to this… as the lights went out Ryan was aggressive off the line, with obvious pace on the car in front, he took a move down the inside of Feeney. Ryan was pushed into the concrete wall, not being left enough racing room, with Feeney turning in the exchange dropping to the rear of the field. Ryan sustained a 15 second time penalty which he took during his first pit stop.
Chaz kept it safe in the opening lap, having a one second gap to preserve tyres and keep the engine cool so he could work his way forward, taking third position on lap 10.
After the first stop, Ryan dropped to 18th after taking the penalty was hungry for a solid result, one of the biggest movers in the middle stint up 10 positions.
Chaz came into the lane on lap 28, coming out effectively P3 behind De Pasquale, on fresher tyres, eager to take P2 which he did a few laps later.
The Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing No. 2 came in for the second stop of the race, coming out of the lane and reporting an issue with the right front, the side that hit the wall on the opening lap, so had to return to the garage for a diagnosis.
With engine issues for Feeney, Chaz was 50 points clear for the championship win. All he needed to do was race clean and cross the finish line which is exactly what he did.
We have waited 23 years for this championship, this wouldn’t be possible without all of our incredible partners, members and fans. THANK YOU.
Now it’s time to celebrate!

“I am so unbelievably happy for Chaz and the team, it’s so awesome for everyone involved, and I’m just so proud to be a part of this team.
“Our race didn’t go to plan, but at the end of the day I am really proud of the year we have put together, we ticked a lot of boxes that we set out to achieve at the start of the year, and I just can’t thank the team enough.
“2026 is going to be huge, but for now, it’s all about my mate Chaz, him getting the Championship he deserves, and this incredible team who got it done. Thanks to everyone for their support.”

“I’m pretty out of breath and my brain is scattered. I’ve been hunting down this day for so many years and I can’t believe I have done it, I’m a Supercars Champion!
“I’ve won Bathurst a couple of time before, this feels exactly like that. I’ve dreamt of this day since I was seven years old go-karting.
“We had our mindset on the finals since the beginning of the year, and it’s paid off. You couldn’t script it any better for us. I can’t thank everyone enough, from our team to partners, fans, members, friends and family!”
