It’s time for week three here in Sydney, as we return to daytime running across Saturday and Sunday.

We are back to two cars this weekend, with Bryce and Chaz looking to build on the gains made in week two.

What's New

Soft tyre, all weekend.

Everyone has five new sets across the weekend, so management of tyres during the race, and how many are changed during the pitstop will be a watch out.

Format

This weekend is a two-day SuperSprint format which starts with two practice sessions Saturday before a three-part knockout qualifying session, and a 32-lap race Saturday afternoon.

On Sunday, we return for back-to-back qualifying sessions that set the grid for the two races, both 32-laps and 125km.

How to Watch

Every lap will be live on Fox Sports and Kayo.

Weather

Last Sunday night’s rain has continued for most of this week, but the weekend looks a little better on the rain front.

Chaz Mostert

“The team have been working hard this week to make sure we are ready for week three. We are still looking for a bit of qualifying speed, which will allow us to race up the pointy end a bit more.

“The podium definitely gave us a lot of confidence heading into the weekend, so we will be looking to replicate that in the dry.”

Bryce Fullwood

“I think we found some pretty good direction with the wet and dry car last weekend. I didn’t put the weekend together as best I could, so I’ve been working at that as well, so I think we’ve got all the ingredients to have a pretty good weekend in all conditions.

“Day running and limited soft tyres will again be interesting to watch this weekend, hopefully we can put on a good show and continue to build towards Bathurst.”
