Race 21

Chaz Mostert: 8th
Bryce Fullwood: 13th

For Chaz, most of the race was spent tucked under the rear wing of Jamie Whincup, just lacking that last bit of speed needed to clear him, and as a consequence, hurt the tyre.

He took four at his stop, as did Bryce, who got on the move in the mid-section of the race to move up to 13th.

Race 22

Chaz Mostert: 7th
Bryce Fullwood: 18th

A great start by Chaz put him in the mix from the start. After the stop, where he took two right hand tyres, he was able to close on Davison for sixth, but once there, was stuck in the dirty air.

Bryce had the elbows up early, locked in a battle in the mid-pack that had it all. After running comfortably in 15th for most of the afternoon, late contact with Brodie Kostecki dropped him to 18th.

Chaz Mostert

“We tried some things this weekend, which we have to do to continue closing the gap to those front cars.

“I’m a lot happier after that final race of the weekend, the car responded a lot better, so we definitely answered some questions which is important.

“Good news is we get to do it all again next week and see what we can improve on during the week. Thanks for the support.”

Bryce Fullwood

“A tough weekend for me, not the weekend we had hoped for coming in.

“That last race was a crazy battle for most of it, it was elbows up, and we probably copped the raw end of it at the end there.

“We will put our heads together through the week, got a heap of data to go through, I’ve got some things I want to work on as well and we will have another crack next weekend.”
